Hi to all,
I would like to use the layout of the TPS61291EVM but after reading the User's guide SLVA773-May 2016 I have the next question:
I would like to use a configuration of L=3.3uH and Co=22+22uF , as described in TPS61291 datasheet.
In the EVM layout the one of the Co caps (C2) is close to the boost converter and the other two (C3-C4) are not really close to it.
If I want to use a combination of two caps in Co where I should place the caps?
- Both of them close to the converter and then the inductor
- the inductor between the caps
- The inductor close to the converter and then the two caps
in the SLVA773 is really clear " The output capacitor location is the most important for any boost converter..."
