Why True RC and True FCC Bounce up and down when discharging ?what should I do?

I program the golden image to another bq34z100 after a Successful Learning Cycle .What else needs to be done? Do I need to send IT ENABLE?

Hi Jiang,

Yes, IT enable will need to be enabled for the gauge to continually learn.

The impedance tables (RA Tables) in the gauge do not look proper.

Could you please send me the log used for learning? Preferably in 1s intervals.

There is the log of learning in 5 s intervals.learning.zip
I have other questions.
Whether Cell Terminate Voltage is related to discharge current ? In the learning cycle should make sure that when terminate voltage is reached(SLUA597) .Is it mean voltage should reach Cell Terminate Voltage - Cell Term V Delta ?
When discharge I found R_a0 Flag changed . Is there more detailed information about the explanation of R_a0 Flag ?
If I want to change the value in data flash after learning,Can I modify it directly?

If the voltage reaches Cell Terminate Voltage but Grid Number is not equal to 14 when discharging , Should I remove load?

I perform a new learning cycle then get a charge / relaxation / discharge /relaxation / charge test .I find Full Charge Capacity reduce near the end of charging .There are logs.charge_discharge_charge.zip

Hi Jiang Liu,

The jumps are normal. The gauge is updating the TrueRC and TrueFCC at gridpoints and when 10 deg temperature difference is crossed (per default settings). The SOC performance looks good considering the high discharge rates and the terminate voltage being set so high. The performance may increase if the terminate voltage is decreased.

Ra0 is used to calculate DOD@EOC. For the TrueFCC drop in capacity after charging, please divide your Ra0 value by 2 (the value seems high from learning). Please also try setting FC Set% = -1.

I use GPG Golden GG Marker Tool to obtain thermal model parameters.Here are data and report8284.data1.zip data-report (1).zip .After Learning cycle Qmax = 4500mAh , but Qmax = 3212 .What is the possible reason?

Qmax = 3212 in report but real Qmax near to 4700mAh (discharge at C/10).

I set FC Set% = -1 ,When Flags FC bit set I find FCC reduced by 2%-3% and temperature is stable during charging.I want to know the case of this phenomenon and the relationship with R0?

Hi Jiang,

Ra0 is used to calculate DOD@EOC.

For the TrueFCC drop in capacity after charging, please divide your Ra0 value by 2 (the value seems high from learning). The Ra0 value is used to calculate the drop in capacity after charging.

Please run a few more cycles and log the performance of FCC over those cycles. If you see a continual drop, please share the logs and your gg file so we may analyze.
