LM5170-Q1: Light load operation

Question1.

Ripple voltage become 1Vp-p at light load condition,is this thought to be due to diode emulation function?

Question2.

Can this part be disabled diode emulation function to reduce ripple voltage at light load?

    Thanks for reaching out with this question.

    Can you please probe the ISETA pin? In the LM5170 there is no way to disable the diode emulation functionality.

    Can you please send the entire schematic? Also feel free to contact me with a direct message.

    As I sent you by direct message before.
    They are evaluating LM5170-Q1 EVM.Following is pin header setting.

    Two-Pin Header Settings
    J2, J4, J25, J34,J35,J36,J37:short
    Other:Open

    Three-Pin Header Settings:
    J5, J21:2-3pin short
    J28,J29,J30:1-2pin short
    Other:Open

    We requested ISETA pin waveform to customer.When we get this,we'll send it to you.

    There is about 400us Upper/lower FET off time in previous waveform.
    Is this pulse skip function ?
