LM3658 usage

1. I read the data sheet, but I didn't understand LM3658SD/NOPB, LM3658SD-A/NOPB, LM3658SD-B/NOPB. Can you briefly describe the difference and how to apply it?

2. I designed the LM3658SD/NOPB, but the delivery time is longer. I can use LM3658SD-A/NOPB directly. Can I replace it with pin to pin?

The LM3658-A has a selectable timer option of 5 hours or 10 hours for the charger timer.
The LM3658-B has an LDO mode when TS pin is open.
See page 11 of data sheet for more info.

"Can I replace it with pin to pin?" - It will depend if USB_SEL is Low or High in the design or will longer timer meet the system requirements.

LM3658SD will set T-CHG timer to 5 hr and T-TOPOFF to 30 min --- independent of USB_SEL.
LM3658SD-A will use above if USB_SEL pin is HIGH, time will increase if the pin is LOW, see table on page 10 of data sheet.
