Another question on reprogramming existing PCBAs:
I recall that in older gas gauges (e.g. bq20z90) there would exist in the data flash certain "hidden" values that could not be cleared out by simply overwriting the .gg file. Now that I am trying to reprogram the bq40z50-R1, will I have a similar problem with the DF retaining existing values from the previous operation if I overwrite the .gg.csv file. Or would it be better to completely rewrite the entire .srec file and then recalibrate the battery?
