Hi,
i have an issue with TPS92640.
The BOOT diode failed and created a shortage. Probably the IC is also damaged.
A replacement of the diode with DFLS1100 got the IC working again.
Specs:
Vin = 48V
Vcc = 10.1V
Over an interface a DMX signal is created to dim the LEDs. Depending on brightness the LED driver are working in
- Mixed mode at low brightness (PWM Dimming + Analog Dimming [Fix. Value set about 20%]) (600Hz at „PWM_SHUTDOWN_G“) or pure
- Analog dimming (3kHz at „CURRENT_ADJ_G“)
The output has 5x LEDs CREE XQE-HI, (RED, GREEN, BLUE or WHITE).
I can provide schematics but would like to keep them private.
Do you have an idea about what could cause the problem?
