Hi team,

My customer is using the UCC2897A now. They want to know the detail turn off process of the device. Could you please give a description? Thanks.

    Hello Frank
    The UCC2897A has a "soft stop" feature whereby the OUT and AUX pins continue switching while the soft start cap is being slowly discharged. This gradually discharges any possible high voltage across the clamp capacitor that may occur during a fault condition and prevents the transformer from saturating. The detail switching waveforms are shown in Figure 20 of the data sheet for a line under voltage condition.
