TPS23880: The Batch production of TPS23880

Please see my answers below:

1.Can TPS23880's mode configuration be configured by hardware circuit? It is difficult for customers to mass production, and it is difficult to configure manual software one by one.
[A]No. The operating mode must be configured through software and the all the configurations will be lost after PoR. After every power cycle, the host need to reconfigure the TPS23880 device.
2.Can TPS23880 work without MSP430,In other words, the design of TPS23880 can achieve automatic mode without MSP430.
[A]No. During start up, there must be a host to load the SRAM code and configure the device. After that, you can set the port to auto mode and the port will turn on automatically once it sees valid PD connected.
