BQ27542-G1: SOC jump when RM/FCC adjust

Hi Team,

as title, i find the SOC will ramp up 1% when RM/FCC adjust.

BQ27542-G1 has't RCJUMP_OK bit, it only have smooth function.

is it normal condition? or abnormal?

could we prevent it?

Can you provide a log file showing what the problem is . i am not sure i understand what your question is.

Also, do you have the rlxsmen flag set to enable smoothing during relaxation?

Hi,

two questions ask:

1. About OperationStatus register ,from the BQ40Z50-r1 Technical Reference,i knwon that,it has two way to access,one is used 0x54 register ,another way is ManufacturerBlockAccess() or ManufacturerData(),

These two way can read the same results?

2.How to read ManufacturerAccess() 0x0054 OperationStatus register? is the same as below? First write command 0x00,data sent 0x0054,then read command 0x23?

the file you attached does not contain your gg file. Check your settings to see if you have rlxsmooth enable flag set in your gg file. If it is not set it and rerun your test.
