Hi Andrew,
Thanks for sharing the design. WEBENCH recommends diodes starting from 3.33A as you can see from the recommended limits. But it selected a 10A diode, because it is cheaper $0.12 compared to a 3.5A diode which is $0.26 as you can see from the list below in the alternate parts.

Hi Andrew,
We keep the limits wide - because the design will work with higher current diodes and as such in this case, if a higher current diode gives a better price - it is beneficial to you as a customer than restricting it.
If you like the old table style, you can still do that in the select screen by clicking on the Table View button on the top right.
