WEBENCH® Tools/TPS5430: Something wrong with WEBENCH

Yes, a 10A diode will not be necessary for this device. You can choose a 3A diode.

   Thanks for sharing the design. WEBENCH recommends diodes starting from 3.33A as you can see from the recommended limits. But it selected a 10A diode, because it is cheaper $0.12 compared to a 3.5A diode which is $0.26 as you can see from the list below in the alternate parts.

As I understand it's from manufacturer price database. But it will be better to change limits in search parts algorithm. Maybe for 3.33A diode, it's reasonable to find a part with a top limit around 5A or so? Also, schematic view for variants is not so convenient. Old style table without schematics was better.
