Hi,
We have one project with bq40z50 for 1s2p. In real application, gauge easily enters to shutdown if cell voltage is ~2.6V due to BAT pin voltage is a little bit lower than 2.2V which from cell voltage minus diode Vf (~0.4V).
Can we use a resistor instead of D1? Any side effect?
