BQ34Z100: BQ34Z100PWR-G1 marked 25KG1 and 27KG1 have issues

Part Number: BQ34Z100

we try testing PCB with device BQ34Z100PWR-G1 and have many failures in production line, 

normally work very good but now we detect IC have marked partnumber correct "34Z100" but have second line 25KG1 and 27KG1, 85KG1 the last one work good. And the issue is lost comunication with two firs 27 and 25K but I don't found why?, datasheet not mention that second line mark and need resolve this issue in the production, 

If you could help me I really appreciate.

    Hi Ignacio,

    The 2nd line of the part marking gives the year and month of production and the assembly site. The K is the same for all of these, so they are from the same assembly site. However, it looks like some of these devices are from 2012 while some are from 2018. Did you order all of these from the same place?

    I suspect the devices from 2012 might be the BQ34Z100 that was later replaced by the BQ34Z100-G1 a few years later. You can update the firmware on the BQ34Z100 with the BQ34Z100-G1 firmware available in the product folder (www.ti.com/.../sluc580), but first it would be good to figure out why you received a mixture of units from different years.
