Hello,
In the page 26 of the TPS2372 datasheet on the last paragraph I can read literally as it follows " The TPS2372 is also able to interoperate with non standard PoE++ PSE controllers. If powered from a PoE++ PSE controller, the TPH/TPL/BT 3-bit code becomes "Low-Low-High". This also indicates that the PoE++PSE agreed to deliver the power requested by the TPS2372". I would just like to know what is understood as a non standard PoE++ PSE controller. Is it a "dump injector " that just supplies voltage across the pairs? or it is a PSE which complies with the AT standard but it can supply power above the AT standard?.
Hi Dainel,
PoE++ is referring to a PSE that supplies >30W with power negotiation that does not comply with the IEEE802.3bt PoE standard.
