EV2400: Enable the power output for the SMB VOUT1

I would like to have VVOD.1 on the EV2400 to be enabled so as to power my BMS.

It is marked "Optional voltage output (future expansion)" and the enable pin for this is connected to P7.4 (pin 57) of the MSP430 controller. It is possible to do this out of the box now? Otherwise I need to solder a cable to bring power to VOUT1 from somewhere else.

Hi Nurgak,

Unfortunately there is not a way to enable this with the current firmware / software. I will talk with our software team to see if and when we might be able to add this feature.

Hi Nurgak,

Right now there is no clear plan to enable this feature. I am exploring this with our tools team, but I would not expect a change would be possible this year since firmware releases need to go through formal validation and testing.
