WEBENCH® Tools/UCC28180: UCC28180 current problem

Part Number: UCC28180

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi

I used UCC28180 to design the power supply of 1600W,

1.The designed output voltage is 350V,the measured voltage at no load is 357V,the measured voltage is 348V when fully loaded at 1600W.

2.The measured input current is as follows, what is the reason?

3.The circuit diagram is as follows.

4.Calculation tool data is as follows.

  • Hi Charles,

Line 118 in the design calculator warns if the current sense resistor value will cause the current amplifier to saturate and in this instance that is what is happening. To avoid this behaviour please reduce the current sense resistor to 8mR.
