BQ40Z60: PEC question

Is the PEC enabled by default? If it is, then what will happen if I send data without sending the PEC byte? And how can I turned off the PEC?

If it is not enabled by default, I believe I can turn it on by using 'SBS Configuration' register on P155 of the TRM, however, there is no information about the address of that register in the TRM.

    Defaults are 0, that means it's disabled. HPE and CPE in SBS Config are the bits that need to be enabled to send PEC. These are for master mode broadcasts from the BMU. How your uc responds to it being there or not is up to the logic that you have for it.
