Hello guys,

 One of our customers is looking for TI altanative device of  ONSEMI, NCP4304.

 I think UCC24610 and UCC24612 could be used instead of NCP4304. Also I think UCC24612 is better than UCC24610 because UCC24612 deice is optimized more than UCC24610.

 Which device is beter to replace NCP4304? Or if TI have any other device to replace NCP4304, could you please let me know?

    Hello Kazuya,

    For a DCM, QR and ACF flyback and LLC the UCC24612 is the most compatible driver we have to the NCP4304 gate driver we have. The UCC24612 has 1 A of source driving capability and 4 A of sink capability.

    It uses a special gate drive technique that allows SR FETs to be driven at frequencies up to 1 MHz. This is describe in section 7.3.2 in detail in the data sheet.
