LMR23630: PFM or FPFM version?

Ladies and gentlemen,

How can I set the LMR23630 to use PFM mode? I do not find any info in the datasheet about setting, only a description in paragraph 8.4.3.

Hi Bela,

The LMR23630 transitions into PFM under light load conditions. This is not the case if you select a part with forced PWM (FPWM).

We offer a few orderable part numbers for the LMR23630 family. To determine which parts have a PFM mode of operation, look in the table below.

The highlighted rows demonstrate orderable part numbers that have a PFM mode of operation, that automatically engages under light load conditions.
