LP87524B-Q1: LP87524B-Q1 output undershoot/overshoot issue

Hi,

We find LP87524B-Q1 Output voltage that have undershoot/overshoot issue as below.

Would you kindly provide some suggestion to reduce the voltage level?

Now add Snubber circuit but no any improve undershoot/overshoo voltage.

    Hi Eric,

    I have assigned the post to the device experts who are located in Europe and should provide a response on Monday regarding the specific device.

    It may help if you can provide information on the components used in the snubber? Not all 390 pF capacitors for example are made equal; the impedance at the ringing frequency will effect how high the ringing is.

    Hello,

    First thing is to check the measurement setup, especially the oscilloscope probe grounding. Best way is to use spring type GND wire right a the tip of the probe to minimize the loop. Using normal GND wire can cause excessive ringing on oscilloscope screen.

    For optimizing snubber components, here's good application note that walks through the selection process. (it is for boost, but applies for buck as well)
