Dear Madam/Sir

Could you give me an explanation why there is an problem with the availability of this component. Are there issues in the design or is it an production failure ?
The problem is that I used this component in a new design based on your evaluation board and your announcement that they will be available.
So at this moment I can not finish the assembly and deliver the proof of concept to my customer. Could you please advise if you have a pin for pin compatible device that is available ?

Hi Eelco,

Lead times in the whole industry are extended right now. This is especially true for ceramic capacitors.

Please place an order with your distributor to obtain up to date lead times.

You can also sample a limited amount of devices from the TI Store. As of now, I see TPS82150 has plenty of samples on hand.

TPS82140 is pin to pin with 3A (TPS82130) and 1A (TPS82150) versions, as stated on page 1 of the D/S.

Thanks for the suggested replacement TPS82150. This one can be used in my design. Could you send me a reply when the TPS82140 is available again. Cheers Eelco Timmer

Hi Eelco,

Actually, I can see nearly 1000 samples of TPS82140 in the TI Store right now and several thousands at distributors.
