Any IC that can protect Mosfet from burn due to output short circuit

Dear Team,

I would like to ask, what is suitable IC used to protect short circuit/high current from destroying Mosfet IRF540N.

The Mosfet is used to control Lamphead flashing. Lamp will flash for 0.2 sec each time with 2.4 sec interval (0.2 sec ON time, 2.2sec off time)

I have difficulties to protect mosfet when someone wrongly short the Lamphead connection, and cause high current go thru mosfet and burn the mosfet (lamp go fixed without flashing)

Please suggest correct IC to be installed in series without any drop, since the system runs on 10A flashing current

    Hi Muhammad Hafiz Harun,

    Welcome to E2E!
    We don't have integrated solution at 54V supporting 10A current. I suggest to use controller + external FET solution with LM5069 for short circuit and overload protection. Place this between +54V source and LED Lamphead. Let me know if you have further questions.
    what is the end product/system? Is it automotive?
