LM25118: LM25118 problem

Part Number: LM25118

Hi all,

One of my customer is designing their products using LM25118, but they change the FB resistor R8(309ou) & R9(2.67K)(Typical application)  to R8(10K) for reducing power consumption. I mean it is  reasonable or not? thanks for your reply!

  • Hi user,

Thank you using the LM25118. Changing the feedback resistors will change the loop gain. In order to keep the loop gain the same, you need to change R4 by the same scale, and reduce C17 and C18 by the same factor. Then the original loop property would be kept the same.
    Thanks,

  • hi ,

Thanks for your reply firstly, and if I change R9 & R8 to 12K $ 100k respectively, what is the reference value of R4、C17& C18 should I change, and could you give some suggestion?

    thanks a lot !
