BQ40Z60: How to access data flash

Hi!

I want to know how to access data flash such as thresholds setting etc., by the SMBus interface without a TI debugger like EV2300?

I know there is a command in AlternativeManufactureAccess which can read/write data flash from address 0x4000 to 0x5ffff, but none of the data flash in the technical reference provide its address.

for example, what should I do if I want to access CUV:Threshold (Cell Undervoltage) Data Flash?

AltMF Access command is 0x44. If you want to do block reads or writes of data, then you need to provide the address of the required item and then read it from there.
Using your case, you want to block write 0x44 and the address that you want to read in LSB, 0x4948. Then you read the response for this back from 0x23 which gives you the value in the same LSB format.

How can I find the "0x4948" in this case from the technical reference? there is no descrioption of address of specific data flash in the documents.

I have the same question. How can I infer or calculate the addresses for all the data flashes in the technical reference. There are many different kinds of data flashes, but the technical reference did not specify their addresses.

Open up bqstudio, the register addresses are all there in the data memory tab.

I opened the bqstudio and selected the data memory tab, but I could not find where is the specific flash memory address for each item.
