BQ76940: connecting

Hi,

There is mechanical issue so we use two connectors for cell input

One connector is odd cell input and the other one is even cell input.

Is it oK for BQ76940?

    Hi David,
    Ground or battery- should be connected first since signals reference to this point. After that the signals should connect in any order, the input caps will divide the voltages between the inputs. Odd or even cells will divide between the 2 cells. Do be careful with the situation shown in figure 21 of www.ti.com/.../slua749a.pdf however, you may find it preferable to mate the odd connector first or use some selected protection components.
