I have been doing some measurements on our 8 port PSE injector which is based on the tps23861 poe pse device.
Measuring the current flowing along the rj45 cable, i saw 590mA - measured with an inline fluke multimeter.
Running TI Pi-Commander-POE gave a reading of 609mA.
I can send the schematic via email/pm but i'm not allowed to post it in public.
Could you advise what could cause this discrepancy, or whether it is within range?
