UCC20225: Can we connect OUTA to High Side and OUTB to low side

I want to use this IC to drive a SiC-based inverter. Can we connect OUTA to High Side and OUTB to low side for a DC link voltage up to 600 volts?

    Hello Manish,

    In the absolute maximum ratings table, the specified channel-to-channel voltage maximum is 700V. The insulation ratings table also specifies a working voltage of 560VRMS, or 792VDC. Based on these ratings, a 600VDC bus should be possible, provided the switch node ringing does not exceed the channel-to-channel maximum voltage. However, please be careful to ensure the PCB is clean and free of pollutants which might lower the creepage distance between channels, and maintain the minimum channel-to-channel spacing of the LGA package.

    If more margin on working voltage is desired, this IC is also available as UCC20520 in 16-pin DW package.
