LP8556: LP8556 question check

Yes, it can be set with 5mA maximum current. You can set the reg A1 bit6:4 with 000.

Thanks for the support. Maybe you misunderstand my question, I know we can set the maximum current to 5mA. The question is after set the max current to 5mA, customer want to know if they can use I2C to configure LP8556 and realize PWM duty cycle from 0% to 100%?
That is 5mA x 0%= 0mA
5mA x 100% =5mA

Can they realize this? If so, how can they realize this? If not, kindly let me know the reason, thanks a lot!

Yes, you can configure the BRT_MODE(reg 01 bit 2;1) to 00b. Then you can apply the pwm to the LP8556, then you can achieve brightness change according to pwm duty cycle.

If LP8556 is not suitable for this, I list the requirements:

Vin=12V

Vout=21V

LEDs are as below(3 channels, 45mA for each channel, VF=21V):

Need Support 5V I2C interface.

Can configure through I2C to control the PWM duty cycle and duty cycle can be low to 0%.
