Dear Sir,

We plan reference TIDA-00091 to design 12Vout / 2.5A. Could you help below question:

1. How to calculate T2 or have suggest part number?

2. Need support PoE and DC in 10V to 57V dual input the PoE first priority. How to design this function?

3. Have other components need to change?

Hi Sam,

1 & 2. See section 7 of our flyback design guide app note (slva305c) for details on transformer calculations.

3. Transformer may need redesigning based on calculations in the app note. Primary FET, and current sense resistor may need changing based on necessary current rating of FET, Rdson, and size of Rcs for appropriate current limiting. It should all be covered in the app note, above.
