TLC5955: Can it run 16x16 RGB LED?

Hi I am not sure if this TLC5955 is suitable for 16x16 RGB LED.

How many do I need TLC5955 for this project? If just one is required, which register is suitable to run the rows?

If I decide to use 32x32 RGB LED, then 2 TLC5955 would be sufficient? Please advise.

Hi, Searn,

One TLC5955 can support 16x16 RGB LED with 48 channels for R/G/B, and 16 scan lines.

In order to get good performance, I suggest to use TLC59582.

If use 32x32 RGB LED, I suggest to use TLC59581
