BQ25601: Can left PSEL pin float?

Dear Expert

My customer meet some charge problem in low battery mode and need to charge design PSEL from pull high 500mA to pull low 2A when plug in VBUS.

But this project status is near MP stage and can't add pull low resister on PSEL pin.

So, can we left PSEL pin float and let it be 2A mode?

I had test EVM and it seems always 2A when I float PSEL pin.

    The datasheet does not indicate that there is a pull down resistor on PSEL. Most ICs' PSEL pins will not float high; however, I cannot warranty this behavior with PSEL left floating across for all ICs across all operating conditions.
