Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8564,
I have an application in which a REF1941 is driving the reference pin of a DAC8564.
On power-up the DAC8564 has its internal reference enabled so I drive the enable pin of the REF1941 to 0V until I can configure the DAC8564 for an external reference.
According to the datasheet of the REF1941 this should put its output in a high-impedance state, but in fact it is a low impedance to ground, pulling the DAC8564 reference down to 1.88V and sinking 100 mA.
(100mA is the current limit of the DAC8564 internal reference)
In theory I should be able to switch between internal and external reference (2.5V and 4.096V) but this behaviour makes it impossible.
