TPS2662: Has the function of current limiting and short circuit protection?

Hi 

I am looking for a power switch (with current limiting, short circuit protection, normal working current < 0.8A).

Our load is a PMW dimming LED module (so the drive current will occur at intervals and there will be an in-rush current)           

We found TPS26624.           

I don't know if this chip can be used in our application. (If my LED module flashes, if in-rush current is greater than the set current limit, will the chip lock?)

    Yes, TPS2662x devices can provide current limiting and short circuit protection. The response to overload (over-current) and short circuit condition is described in section 9.3.5 on Page 20 of datasheet. TPS2662 has inrush current limiting which can be configured by settling output slew rate (by cap on dVdT pin). if an overload (overcurrent) condition, the device regulates the current at programmed current limit.
