OVP test method

Would like to check the test method with you for below list parts; We all know the OVP function from datasheet, but need to check how to perform it, thanks.

    Statham,

    For SN1602003, in production, the OVP function is tested in an open loop condition where the various pins of the IC can be individually.  If you are trying to test that function on your operational circuit, the typical way is with a fast load dump ( load step change from 40 A to 0A).  However for a well designed circuit, you may not be able to trip the OCP.  You may need to remove a lot of the output capacitance.  For a well designed circuit, the output filter will be designed so that OCP does not trip even for the maximum load transient.  What is your purpose?  Ideally you should test to ensure OCP does not trip using your maximum load step condition.

    SN1062018 does not appear to be a valid part number.
