wide range output dc/dc converter

- is there pwm controller with set point input? ( for example by a DAC or a POT )
- or is it possible to vary the feedback scale through a POT without chnaging the loop performance?

the minimum current may be 0 A. the current depends on the load. in the range of 0 to 1 A.

Do you need output current > 0A when output voltage = 0V? I do not think any simple topology can do this. Please clarify your design specs. In general, you are asking a special dc source which is not a trivial design. The output voltage range is very wide which may require to separate 0 to 400V into several sub-range. Each sub-range can be done with a forward half-bridge dc-dc then you need to find a way to combine all sub-range together using either POT or DAC to make full range output 0 to 400V. If you want to achieve 1A at output voltage = 0V. This will need to design using more like a current source so this portion itself will become a sub-range. I think this is not a trivial discussion and can be done on E2E. You may contact your TI local office to get help, your TI office can pull in more resource to help this.
