Hello

I want to check if there will be some bad risk when add external back-power supply at output pin of TPS65651 when its input pin is floating

Exg. Vi is floating, external add 4.6V at VELVDD

Hi Fandy,
It is not recommended to have an external supply connected to TPS65651's output pins when there no input voltage to the device. In a typical application there can be some voltage present on the ouput pins briefly, for example residual voltage during panel's discharge phase, but connecting an external supply to output pins is not recommended.
