Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100EVM, BQ34Z100-G1,
I am using a BQ76940 in my design with a 14S Li-Po stack. It is my understanding that the "Impedance Track" (IT) algorithm is superior and more accurate than the CEDV algorithm. However, the BQ769x0 family only support CEDV. It appears that if I want IT then I need to also use a supported device such as the BQ34Z100-G1. I recently updated the firmware in my BQ34Z100EVM (BQ34Z100-G1). Does the BQ76940 have the same ability to update such that it could be made to support IT? Is there a revision coming to the BQ7694x0 family to add IT support?
