TPS549D22: RSN pin connection

Part Number: TPS549D22

Hi Team,

Will the RSN pin need to connect to GND pin when using remote sense with feedback?

Best regards,

Jason Chen

  • Jason,
TPS549D22 uses true differential remote sense. Connect the positive remote sense trace to the positive output voltage at the load and the negative sense trace (RSN) to GND at the load. Run the two traces back to the TPS549D22 as a differential pair. Connect the top end of the upper resistor of the divider to the positive remote sense trace. The bottom end of the upper resistor is connected to RSP and the top of the lower divider resistor. The bottom of the lower resistor is connected to the negative sense trace and the RSN pin.

    I see,thank you!
