TL2844: Questions for the difference between TL2844 and UC2844

May I know what's the difference between UC2844 and TL2844? It looks like the specs are almost the same, which one is preferred?

This question has been answered before on the forum, e2e.ti.com/.../1746733

The TL2844 was designed by TI to be pin 2 pin compatible with the UC2844 from Unitrode, before TI acquired Unitrode. The electrical characteristics are the same you can use either one.
