TLV62095: tlv62096 feedback resistor limitation

Part Number: TLV62095
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62827

Hello Sirs,

We want to Vo 0.9V and 0.75V switch with a parallel resistor

Feedback R up is 80.8K

Feedback R down is 1M ohm // 1M ohm

Is there problem to use such large resistor for tlv62095 ?

Is there Cff value recommendation ?

Many thanks !

  • HI Terry,
The TLV62095 is not specified to operate at Vout=0.75V

Morevover I would not recommend to use such large resistors for the lower resistor in the feedback divider. As mentioned in the DS, the feedback current should be minimum 5uA, If you 1Mohm the current flowing is less that 1uA.

Did you already take a look at the TPS62827?
Could you precise the application and operating conditions?

    Regards,
    Sabrina
  • Hello Sabrina,
Sorry my typo . Actual Vo is 0.8 <->0.9V .
We'll reduce to meet 5uA feedback current .

BTW. May I know where I can see this 5uA spec in D/S ?

    Many thanks !
  • It is in the description of the "8.2.1.2.5 Setting the Output Voltage"
Could you give more information on the end application ? If you do not want to share it on a public forum you could send it in private message.
