According to the BQ2408x datasheet, in section 7.3 the recommended operating conditions, the safety timer program resistor is limited from 33 to 100 kohms. this makes the timeout from 3.3 to 10 hours.
Can we safely use a 20 kohm resistor for a 2 hour timeout?
