TL494: Low Frequency

Part Number: TL494

I want to use TL494 at low frequency (50 - 80 Hz). But at a first set-up I see random double pulses at either output.

Any solution for this?

I have run the TL494 at 10kHz but never as low as 50/80Hz.

The first thing I would check is that the oscillator is running stably.

With such a low frequency, the dv/dt at the input to the PWM comparator will be vary low. This means that the comparator will be extraordinarily sensitive to noise. This would be the first thing I would check.

Can you post some waveforms please ?
