Hi ALL：

I have encoutered some questions when I use the BQ34110evm-796 to acquire the battery informations

Q1:

Why the BQ34110 is always Auto Encrypted when I connect BQ34110evm next time or I send the reset command to the BQ34110 by the BQstudio

Q2:

How to acquire the EMF,C0,R0,T0,R1,TC,C1 value correctly!

Hi Darren,

For Q1, if you have sealed the gauge once before, it will always come up in SEALED mode after a reset. Typically, the device should only be sealed as the last step in production of your system.
For Q2, There is an overview in the EVM User Guide Section 3.7 and this refers to the GPCCEDV tool. The GPCCEDV tool instructions can be found here: www.ti.com/.../sluub45b.pdf

Another useful document is located here: www.ti.com/.../slua924.pdf It is for a different device, but the instructions in the gas gauging section give a detailed overview of getting your CEDV parameters.
