TPS2492: Decrease current consumption if disabled

Hello TI-Team,

The datasheet shows a Supply Current von 120µA (typ) if the controller is disabled. We plan to use the TPS2492 in a battery powered system, so is there a solution (maybe an additional circuitry) to decrease the supply current to a lower value?

Hi Patrick,

From the IC perspective, we may not be able to decrease the Supply current to less than 120uA.

From a system perspective, you should be more worried about the significant current flowing through the resistor divider network of UVEN and OV pins and leakage current of the TVS diode at input.

Hi Patrick,

What protection features you care about in the battery path? Is it simple connect/disconnect switch?
Please look at LM5060,. It has only 9uA disable current.
