BQ76PL455A-Q1: Question about daisy chain

Part Number: BQ76PL455A-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76PL455A

Dear TI Experts,

I am now using 6 BQ76PL455A for  96s BMS project~

And now I met with a problem really need your suggestion:

When their is high voltage(power-on),their will be frame  drop phenomenon~

In terms of software, it just waits for a period of time, and the data is incomplete. It is judged by the number of bytes that should be received~~

I'd like to know is their anything need to be taken consider of? Do I need to have GND under the Daisy Chain?

  • Hi Fawn,

I don't fully understand the issue, can you please provide more details about the device status - including if you read any faults (and what faults they are) on any of the devices, what software you are using/what is it doing, and check RX/TX lines are acting according to your commands?

    Best Regards,

    Taylor
