Hi,
I am working on the calibration of RX per SLUA731 (FOD GUI User's manual), section 6.3. and I came across some issue.
For my application, the battery we chose has 1000mA (1/LPP 503759) charging current and I selected source meter Keithley 2400.
To supply the constant current, what compliance voltage on the source meter should I use? and why?
I have tried using the max compliance voltage, and the chip got damaged; however if I use between 3v and 4v (fast charging state), the current reading on the source meter does not match the constant current that I set to, and Vout, Vrect, PPR, PPT always stay the same.
I found odd that, varies the compliance voltage and keep the same constant current will allow me collect some reasonable data, see below:
Status | State | COMPL(V) | VRECT(V) | VOUT(V) | Current Reading on the source meter (A) | PPT(mW) | PPR(mW) | VFOD(V) | The constant current was set to 0.05A |
