For the EN of TPS53355, datasheet gives different requirements below. what's the meaning of the 1.8v below? whether it's max enable on voltage? Which value we need to follow 1.8v or 1.2v. Thanks.

Hi Frank,

I'm sorry for the confusion of the unclear specifications. What the 1.8V means is that we guarantee the part to be ON at 1.8V and to be OFF at 0.6V. I hope that makes sense to you.

Hi Frank,
1.2V is the typical value. The datasheet has been revised for the later products to have the min, typ, and max value due to this confusion. We acquired this device after it has been RTM for quite sometimes. To be honest with you, I am not sure why it was stated this way in the datasheet.

Hi Frank,
Hope this help: 1.2V is a typical to turn-on the part. But, you would need at least 1.8V minimum to guarantee to turn-on the part.
