TPS60210: abnormal current

Part Number: TPS60210

Hi,guys. The following is question i've met about this device .when powered by battery ,ER26500 with range of 2.8V~3.7V, This device itself disspate about 20mA current  without output  ,keeping 3.3V output voltage .as the SPEC says ,when this device enters snooze mode ,the max current  will not  exceed 2mA .so ,this case is not allowed .NOW ,i am confused about  this problem ,

  • Hi Ray,

Thank you for your interests in TPS60210. Can you show your schematic? Usually if your ground the SNOOZE pin the circuit will enter the snooze mode and draw little current under no load. There is also a resistor divider at the LB1 pin and it will leak current if the resistance is low.

    Thanks,

  • Good morning, thanks for your reply.

Here is the schematic screenprint file . I did not know whether it is useful or not .At  the same time ,description of the schematic is below.

LBI  pin is useless for me,connected to ground, LBO pin is connected to VOUT pin through a pulled up resistor (1MΩ).Leak current draws little from the device .This case appears by accident.
