Recommend Flybuck solution

We want to design an Auxiliary Power Supply.

Input 7.5V~30V, output 12V/1A

LM5160A Flybuck solution has been found, but output can't be 1A by WEBENCH simulation.

Is there a suitable chip to recommend a simple synchronization architecture (including mos)?

Hello Jerry,

A FlyBuck may not reach 12 watts that you need.
A classic Flyback would be better.

The reference design tool is very helpful in these situations.
It can help identify designs that are close to what you need and which TI devices would be used.

I searched for 12V 1Amp Isolated.

PMP30252 uses TPS40210 as a Flyback controller.

This reference design with TPS40210 is for an input voltage range from 9V to 36V. The output voltage is 12V with an output current of 1A (max). Discontinuous mode was chosen for a small and cost effective transformer.

This design could be modified to work at 7.5Vin.

Using Webench to look for designs I get 15 designs that are similar.

Jerry, do you need isolation?

If you don't need isolation then a normal Buck-Boost will work.

LM5175 is an example.
