TPS61165: Actual value of tes_det and tes_delay

Part Number: TPS61165

Hi,

We got a question from the customer about TPS61165.
Could you help us?

[Question]
How much is the actual value of tes_det and tes_delay? Now the IC can't operate PWM dimming on thier prototype. They think the IC enters One-Wire mode due to chattering which before inputting PWM pulse. Please refer to attached file for the details. Therefore they would like to know the actual value of tes_det and tes_delay.

To prevent this phenomenon, I think more than 2.5msec low period which after the chattering is needed to remove One-Wire mode. Is this my understanding correct?

  • Hi Tateo,
I'm sorry that we only use the minumum time periode to detect the One-Wie mode, since if you pull down CTRL pin for more than 2.5ms , it will shhudown, and then if you procide PWM ,it will work normaly with PWM.Please let your customer to check whether there is improvement...
    Best Regards
