Hi,

I have used LP38692SD-ADJ/NOPB in one of my board but now i want to use a LDO which can source output current greater than 1.2 Amp and voltage 5V with input 6V and should be footprint compatible with LP38692MP-5.0/NOPB that is SOT-223-5 package.

    Hi,

    The TPS7A45 is suitable based on your input voltage, output voltage, load current, and footprint requirements. Unfortunately, TI's devices that support at least 1.2 A load current in the SOT-223-5 package are not fully pin-to-pin compatible with the LP38692.
